Escuela de Vela en Sotogrande
La nueva Escuela de Vela se sitúa entre la playa y la marina del puerto de Sotogrande. El edificio, de pequeña escala, se construye mediante una estructura de acero galvanizado que alberga un aula, las oficinas de la escuela, los vestuarios y aseos y un almacén para guardar las velas.
El aula es un espacio con doble orientación que conecta visualmente la playa en el lado sur con el puerto en su lado norte.
Frente al edificio se situa una plataforma cubierta por una pérgola de mayor escala cubierta con mimbre para producir sombra a la terraza y conseguir que el edificio sea más visible desde el mar.

Sailing School in Sotogrande
The new Sailing School stands in between the beach and the marina of Sotogrande. The small construction is built with a light galvanized steel structure that contains a classroom, the school offices, changing rooms and a storage place for the catamaran´s sails.
The classroom is a double oriented space that connects visually the beach in the south with the port in the north.
In front of the building there is a platform covered with a bigger scale pergola covered with willow reeds that provides shade to the terrace and makes the building more visible from the sea.
