//deAbajoGarcía////deAbajoGarcía// es un estudio de arquitectura fundado por Carlos García Fernández (1982, Cangas del Narcea, Asturias) y Begoña de Abajo Castrillo (1986, León) en Nueva York en 2013 y con base actual en Madrid.
Entienden la arquitectura como la conjunción de experiencias dentro de los campos del diseño, la construcción y la academia y comparten su interés por la práctica, la pedagogía y la investigación de arquitectura. Ambos son arquitectos formados en la Escuela de Arquitectura de Madrid (ETSAM) y han sido becarios Fulbright en la Universidad de Columbia en Nueva York, donde han realizado el Master of Science in Advance Architectural Design. En paralelo a su práctica profesional actualmente desarrollan su labor docente e investigadora en la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. 2019/ SEGUNDO PREMIO EUROPAN 15. They are currently based in Madrid.
They understand architecture as an assebly of experiences within the fields of design, construction and academy. They share their interest for the combination of their practice with pedagogy and research in architecture. Carlos and Begoña are architects from the Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM) and they both have been Fulbright Fellows at Columbia University in New York, where they have graduated from the Master of Science in Advance Architectural Design.
